Hands-on Demonstrations of RFID Applications
Our Center of Excellence is a hands-on, familiar environment that demonstrates the usability and advantages of RFID and other technologies from manufacturing to the retail floor, including conveyor-based systems, smart shelves and dressing rooms, point-of-sale and perimeter security. Many of the applications are based on those implemented for clients at the case and item level, which are now operational in live client and customer environments. Continual refinement at our Center of Excellence contributes to the superior performance of the technologies and applications featured.
We have alliances with leading hardware and software providers, and other firms to create and implement the most compelling RFID solutions today. These include Symbol Technologies for RFID tags, readers and antennae; Avery Dennison Retail Information Systems for RFID label technology; PSC for handheld readers; and MasterCard International for RFID-enabled payment technology.
Our RFID services meet a range of client needs and often start with a demonstration at our Center of Excellence. These sessions, which run from two hours to a full day, include a combination of presentation, interaction with applications, and brainstorming.
